I consider myself extremely lucky to have been given the opportunity to become immersed in performing arts at such a young age, and to have been given the space not only to perform, but to be creative, discovering art through experimentation and free play. This gift has infused every aspect of my life.

Besides an extensive childhood 'career' in community musical theatre and on televsion, I have a B.A. in Modern Dance from UCLA and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from JFKU. I was a Massage Therapist for 10 years, specializing in Pre and Postnatal Massage, and also taught infant massage for 10 years. For the three years before I started FAM JAM!, I was a birth doula, childbirth educator and co-director of a non-profit birth education and support center.

Music Together has been a blessing in my life, as a parent first, and then as a teacher and center director. I truly love my work! After over 7 years, I am still learning every day. Every time I come back around to a collection in the 3 year cycle, I feel like I'm reconnecting with old friends! And the support and friendship I have globally with other Music Together directors has been powerful and inspiring. Music Together as an organization has attained the unique ability to be heart-first while growing into a successful, world-wide corporation. From the in-person trainings to the online and on-phone support, I feel so lucky to be able to pass along the most cutting-edge, most inspired, most effective early childhood music program to our FAM JAM! families.
