Anne Manzler Driscoll
Registered Music Together Teacher, FAM JAM!
Since childhood, I have studied voice, piano, cello and dance. Although I majored in History and Psychology at Ohio Weslyan University, I spent most of my time at the Music Department where I studied voice for 4 years and sang in the Ohio Weslyan Choir as well as many musical and dance productions. I sang in the Ohio Weslyan productions of Gilbert and Sullivan's "Rudigore", Puccini's "Gionni Schicci" as well as the musical version of "Alice in Wonderland." I have a Masters Degree in History from Colorado University as well.
In 1995, I came to Santa Fe to begin a career as a massage therapist, working in many modalities including pre and postnatal massage. In 1998, I began my love affair with Argentine Tango and have been dancing and teaching ever since. I also host a weekly tango milonga.
Along the way I became the mother of two wonderful girls, Tessa and Grace. We have been enjoying Music Together from before the time that they could walk. As a new mom, I found that Music Together provided me with both the community and creative connection that I was craving. Not only did both of my children blossom musically, but we began using Music Together songs at home as a way of communicating and transforming stressful situations into fun. As a Music Together teacher, I hope to share with you the fun and creative joy that my family looks forward to each week.
